Russian Volume Eyelash Extensions

As the eyelash industry continues to expand, pioneers are developing new and advanced lash extension techniques. A method to create a fuller, more dramatic individual lash extension look is the Russian Volume technique.

 

These lashes have substantially less weight than other types of false lashes, making them much safer to use.

 

The treatment is carried out by fanning out two or more single lashes and placing them on to one natural lash to create the fullest-looking lashes possible.

 

This course will teach you everything you need to know about offering a professional Russian volume treatment and includes a practical training session and assessment.

The course is beautifully written and accompanied by images, video and a voice-over.

 

You will have access to a PDF manual which you can refer back to. All modules and examinations are completed online with full online support available.

The practical module will also be assessed by one-day assessment at your chosen practical training centre. On completion of the course, successful students will receive a GTi certificate.

​

This course follows the National Occupational Standards and covers the technique for Russian volume eyelash application, as well as the correct removal and maintenance of lashes.

Russian Volume course includes:

 Course Structure:

1st Practical Day 10am-5:30pm

10am-11:30am

• Introduction

• Recap of the theoretical part

• Beauty room set up (tools, light, beauty bed)

11:30am-1:30pm​

Practice on a  mannequin:

• Eyelash Wash, Cleanse, Prime

• How to pick up Eyelash Extensions correctly ​

• How to isolate the Natural Lashes so we do not damage them with Eyelash extensions

• Eyelash Extensions Length and Weight importance for the Natural Lashes

• How to Infill the Eyelash Extensions

1:30pm-2pm-Lunch

2pm-3:30pm-Practice on Doll

 

2nd Day of Practice

• 10am: Hybrid & Russian Volume demonstration

• 11am: Students practice Russian Volume fans

• 1 pm: Lunch

• 1:30pm Practice Russian Volume on dolls
